Combo Classes
Mini Movers
The best class to start for your one or two year old is Mini Movers. Mini Movers is specially designed to develop important developmental skills and to prepare your little one for the next level of class. This class starts with structured play allowing your child to explore activities while the instructor works with children one on one. The class then does group activities, including circle time with songs, a tumbling and dance portion, obstacle course and parachute activities. This class is a perfect start with the comfort of a parent/grandparent/"big buddy" in the room. Your child can wear stretchy clothing and will participate barefoot.

Mini Movers 2
This class is for students 2.5 - 3.5 years old. Mini Movers 2 is the perfect transition from Mini Movers into our 3-4 year old classes. It is structured like a Mini Combo class but is condensed into 30 minutes with a smaller class size to set your tiny dancer up for success! Your child can wear stretchy clothing (most wear a leotard and skirt/tutu) and will need black tap and pink ballet shoes.

Mini Dance 1, 2 & 3
Mini Dance is a combo class that incorporates tap, jazz, ballet and creative movement. Mini Dance 1 is best suited for students 3-4 years old. Students will learn dance skills, as well as social skills, like taking turns, standing in line and following a teachers directions. Mini Dance 2 is for 4-5 year olds and expands upon the curriculum taught in Mini Dance 1. Students learn some more difficult skills with increased coordination in addition to how to make corrections in movement. The learning continues for 5-6 year olds in Mini Dance 3.

Hip-Hop, Flip Flop 1/2 & 3
These classes are specially designed for dancers 3-6. They offer age-appropriate instruction in Hip-Hop and Tumbling. Hip-Hop, Flip Flop 1/2 is for 3-5 years olds and Hip-Hop, Flip Flop 3 is for 5-6 year olds. They will learn basic Hip-Hop and tumbling skills that prepare them to enter into our B1 classes.

Tap
Tap is a fun dance style that involves making different sounds and rhythms using tap shoes as an instrument. Tap classes help develop rhythm and increase coordination. This class includes rhythm technique as well as perfecting basic skills. Students will learn combinations with and without music to enhance their rhythmic skills. Students should wear stretchy clothing (no jeans) and black tap shoes.

Jazz
Jazz is an energetic and upbeat dance style that is so fun! Jazz incorporates some of the technical aspects of ballet and more free form movement that allows dancers to kick, spin and leap to upbeat, pop music. This class includes stretching, across the floor skill instruction, combinations and choreography. Students should wear stretchy clothing (no Jeans) and black jazz shoes.

Ballet
Ballet is a fabulous dance form that teaches technique, body positioning and skills that lead to beautiful movement. Little ones love to be ballerinas. It is so fun to dress up in leotards and tutus and move gracefully across the floor. Our older dancers appreciate the improvement in all dance forms that ballet creates. Ballet class consists of bar work, across the floor, stretching and choreography. Female ballet participants should wear leotards with skirts, shorts or pants and pink ballet shoes. Boys can wear a shirt and shorts or stretchy pants with black ballet shoes.

Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop is a style that focuses a lot on feeling and moving to the beat of the music. The class consists of a warm-up, across the floor skills practice and choreography. This class dances to pop and hip-hop music that is age-appropriate. Students should wear comfortable, stretchy clothing (no jeans) and tennis shoes. For performances, students will need black tennis shoes.

Tumbling
Tumbling is the floor portion of gymnastics. Classes begin with a warm-up to stretch and enhance flexibility. Each class works on various tumbling skills depending on the level of the class. Skills range from forward rolls and cartwheels in the beginning classes to handsprings, tucks and layouts in the advanced classes. Class concludes with conditioning to increase strength. Students should wear stretchy clothing (no jeans) and participate barefoot.

Musical Theater
This class focuses on incorporating singing and acting with dance! Students will do various activities that get them to move and perform as different characters. This class is action-packed and full of opportunities for self-expression. Students should wear stretchy clothing (no jeans) and participate barefoot.

Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical dance tells a story through movement and involves depicting the emotion of the song. It combines the beauty and gracefulness of ballet and expression of jazz. To be successful in Lyrical, dancers should be in Ballet B3 or Jazz B3 or higher. Contemporary is a fusion of jazz, ballet and modern dance. This class is for intermediate and advanced ballet and jazz dancers.
